Mammoth Mountain RV Park is a campsite is at the entrance of town, across from the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center and Ranger Station on Highway CA-203 (Main St). The site is within 1.5 miles of the Gondola at the Village, the newest gateway to the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort.
The park offers over 100 partial hook-up sites in winter with water, electric (30, 50 and 110 amp) and cable TV and the pitches are all paved.
For those touring without an RV (and thick skin!), there are also tent sites available and two cabins.

Prices are based on the size and type of vehicle you have and the electric hook up you require – we based our costs on a Class C motorhome with 30 amp hook up which is around the $60-65/ night in January.
What’s the Skiing like at Mammoth Mountain?
There are over 300km of groomed piste made up of 151 runs – along with 11 terrain parks, cross country skiing and skidoo tracks all around the area.
Predominantly focused on intermediate and advanced skiers – about 75% of the terrain is classified red or black in the European standards although the absence of drag lifts with be welcomed by beginner snowboarders.
It’s just over an hour flight from LA which means it can get really busy after a good dump – the snow here can be dramatic and there are plenty of cannons so being able to drive and arrive after fresh powder means you can get on the slopes before LA has woken up.
Mammoth Mountain is also part of the Ikon Pass programme for any one touring the 44 hills on the ticket.
