Whistler RV Park and Campground

Whistler RV Park and Campground is around 18 km from the Whistler Village and has access to one of the largest ski areas in Canada. Getting there is easy – just a 90 minute drive fro Vancouver.

Whistler itself is really pretty town – which like many European resorts is car free so there’s a shuttle to the village from the parking which solves the issue of packing up each day you want to hit the  slopes.

• During Christmas and New Year there is a minimum 3 night stay (22nd of December to the 2nd of January)
• Check the weather and call ahead of time as there is a steep 10% grade hill to get up to the campground. They plow it regularly but it’s definitely worth calling ahead so you don’t have any surprises
• All vehicles require winter tires, and 4×4 vehicles if towing – a country that has their priorities right – catch up Europe!
• If you need toilet facilities, request in advance as some sites are much further form them than others!
• For those looking to park up for a 30 days there’s a $1050 discounted rate – that’s a huge discount of $450.
• And perhaps the most epic thing about Whistler RV Park and Campground – you can snowmobile and and out. Ski-in ski-out is so last season.
