Snomad Sites is a resource dedicated to winter park ups for motorhomes, caravans, RVs and campervans that we started it when we first set out on a season long trip across Europe in our motorhome.
We’re Hannah and James (AKA Winterised) and with the help of some intrepid and very experienced snomads, we have made it our mission to provide a reliable guide to campsites, park-ups, overnight stops and many other resources you’re going to need if you’re on the road in winter.
There are lots of guides and apps out there – both on the internet and in print – but Snomad Sites is a drill-down – just featuring places that are verified as winter-ready. We got caught out so many times that first winter on the road – places closed, services turned off, inaccessible for larger vehicles like ours in the snowy conditions … so we set about pulling together a list of places we had stayed, some of which we have in-depth YouTube videos.
